I’ve only had my E90 for 6 months but Ive put on almost 8,000 miles. Compared to the Galant which only drove 7000 miles in the 2.5 years I owned it, because A it spent a lot of time on jack stands, And B I didn’t trust it take long trips. Where as I haven’t had to do anything with the BMW and I’ve driven it to Minneapolis 4 hours away 5 times. Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase.
Although I can’t say I don’t miss the Galant. At least I get to visit it. I sold it to an employee. Also I loooove having a roof rack
I’m planing on doing an oil change soon which will be 80 bucks, but that will be the first maintenance experience for this car.

People are posting reasonably -depreciated BMWs a day after I discover my Volvo needs new control arms, and now I’m browsing used car listings...

Do it. E88, or E9x. You’ll like it or I’ll eat my shoe

Yes, but only 3 clicks at a time. And some times the left one comes on when I try to turn my cruise off.

Anything smaller than a full-size car is worse than walking

In my mind an E90 is full size lol. It’s the biggest car I’ve owned. It’s too big and too heavy for my liking. But I have a longer commute now so I deal with it. But that’s coming from a Honda Civic fan boy.

Can’t believe you’ve only had yours 6 months. Mine’s past 8 months and... < 2K miles

You must resolve this immediately.

I can’t tell if you are joking, your stalk is broken, or you don’t know how your turn signals work…

Why haven’t you put the BMW Performance exhaust on it yet?
![]() 07/11/2018 at 22:14 |

I have zero interest in modifying this car, mainly because no matter what I improve on it, it still won’t be a 335i. It’s like putting an exhaust on a V6 Mustang

Half a click flashes 3 times, and that basically all I ever use, a full click leaves them on. Some Chevys actually have the same thing. Also the control stalk for the cruise is right under the indicator stalk so sometimes I’ll push the wrong one down.

I know, the 1-series controls are identical. I've flashed my high beams at a few people trying to set the cruise.

The local dealer always has $60 oil change coupons on their website. You should check for your local dealer. I bring both the 335i and the 328i in like every 3k just because of that.

Where is that? Is that Mexico?
I know a lot of Regios that go to the South Padre Islands in Texas, is it there?

You know, some dude in an Accord was stuck in traffic with me. He had the nicest exhaust sound I’ve heard come out of a non italian v6 in a long time.
It wasn’t a ricer or a fart can, it exentuated the v6 noise quite nicely.
I really, really liked his car, it made me think about trying to get an exhaust on the Kia eventually.
